OREN fucking TENNING has been my favorite Forbidden man right from the very beginning. And A PERFECT TEN is nothing short of a perfect story for the most perfect couple in this series IMHO. Synopsis: Let your hair down, Caroline, they said. It'll be fun, they said. |

*ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review* And here I thought Grandma Nadine’s meddling ended with the Titus brothers. I’ve never been gladder to be wrong in my whole life. Written in Rachel van Dyken’s trademark wit and humor, The Dare is an enjoyable end (?) to her Bet books. But damn, I don’t think I’m prepared to say goodbye to Grandma just yet! Rating: 4 out of 5 Grandma Nadine stars Synopsis: Boring Beth Lynn has always lived up to her nickname… until she wakes up in a hotel bed next to a sexy as sin state senator she re-connected with at a wedding the previous night. *Ebook provided by the author in exchange for an honest review* I’ve read the first two books (Bad Rep and Perfect Regret) in this series and I can’t help but compare the three. I thought Bad Rep was okay and I LOVED Perfect Regret. SEDUCTIVE CHAOS falls somewhere between the two. There were aspects that I liked about it and some that I don’t. Which is only natural, I guess. But all in all, I thought SEDUCTIVE CHAOS was a great addition to this series. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars Synopsis: Cole Brandt was the self-centered and philandering lead singer for Generation Rejects *Ebook provided by the author in exchange for an honest review* I have mixed feelings about The Art of Letting Go by Anna Bloom. I wanted to really like it but it did not pull me in as I expected. Let me tell you why. Rating: 2 out of 5 stars Synopsis: For Lilah McCannon, life has taken a bit of a wrong turn. Engaged to a guy she is not in love with and stuck in a job with her tyrannical father as her boss, life has definitely not turned out the way she expected. *A huge thanks to the author for providing the e-book in exchange for an honest review* As an Occupational-Therapist-in-the-making, books about people on the spectrum are particularly close to my heart (case in point, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon). Stim by Kevin Berry is no exception. An amazing 5 out of 5 stars for STIM. Synopsis: Robert is different. He has Asperger’s Syndrome. He experiences the world differently to 99% of the population. Follow his entertaining and highly empathetic story as he struggles to realise and accept who he really is, try to understand other people—which he cannot—and find a girlfriend. Especially find a girlfriend—he’s decided it’s his special project for the year. Accompanied on this transformative journey by his quirky flatmates, Chloe (who also has Asperger’s, amongst other things), Stef (who hasn’t, but doesn’t mind) and their oddly-named kitten, Robert endures a myriad of awkward moments in his quest to meet a nice, normal girl…and not even a major earthquake will stop him. *Thank you to the author for providing the ebook in exchange for an honest review. If you’re looking for a quick, fun read with just the right amount of drama and a whole lot of sexiness on the side, then don’t miss out on Jen McLaughlin’s BETWEEN US. It’s part of the three book novella series called SEX ON THE BEACH. Each novella is a standalone but all three books are set in the same world and are centered on the spring break escapades of three friends. My rating: 4 out of 5 stars Blurb: I’m just a girl… If you’re looking for a light, fun read that is sure to tickle your funny bones, then this is the book for you. MUST LOVE OTTERS is a wonderfully heartwarming tale about finding the most unexpected things in the most unexpected places. I'm giving Eliza Gordon's MUST LOVE OTTERS 4.0 out of 5 OTTER stars! :)) Blurb: Hollie Porter is the chairwoman of Generation Disillusioned: at twenty-five years old, she’s saddled with a job she hates, a boyfriend who’s all wrong for her, and a vexing inability to say no. She’s already near her breaking point, so when one caller too many kicks the bucket during Hollie’s 911 shift, she cashes in the Sweethearts’ Spa & Stay gift certificate from her dad and heads to Revelation Cove, British Columbia. One caveat: she’s going solo. Any sweethearts will have to be found on site. Books, gaming, hot guys? WHERE DO I SIGN UP? Oh, wait, I don't need to because of Brenna Aubrey's AT ANY PRICE (Gaming the System #1). All my favorite things rolled into one sinfully sexy package? Now, THAT is my kind of book. FIVE out of FIVE stars! Check out the blurb right here: Achievement Unlocked: Geek Virgin |
